Salutations™!!
My return to 1984 was glorious. Everything that was supposed to play played. And that was following a flawless playing of Jonathan Hodge’s The Underdog Autopsy at 7p. I will always believe that 1984 was the greatest year in music. I stick by it. Here’s the setlist:

What are some of your favorite songs from 1984? What did I miss? A reminder, I have more 1984 coming this week…
Do you have ideas for show topics? I’d really love to hear your ideas because eventually (any day now), I’m going to run out of things to talk about out of my feeble brain.
Also, you don’t have to be “local” to listen. We are an internet-based radio station and are licensed to broadcast anywhere in the US, Canada, and the UK. We broadcast out of the Omniverus Studios at Liberty Plaza.
Your next question may be: well, how do we listen? We have you covered on that. The Camel City Radio app is available on both the Apple Play and Google Play stores, so we are compatible with any iOS or Android device. Also, we now have our Alexa Skill. All you have to do is say, “Alexa, play Camel City” and Bob’s your uncle. You don’t even have to say “radio” (because she takes me to some weird Pandora channel). Just “Camel City.” And now, we are on the Audacy directory. Listen anywhere on the web or in an app.
You can comment here, send an email or call 336-462-8660 and leave a voicemail. We will play your VM on the air (unless you tell us not to).
Listen to The Rose Garden of Doom on Camel City Radio on Saturday mornings at 10a-until. Eugene has The Non-Conformist Cult Radio Show on Friday Nights, 8p-midnight! I host a Monday feature called “New Tunes on Monday.” That happens on Mondays at 2p. The Evening Chill is from 7-11p on Wednesday evenings, brought to us by Salem Organic Supply, and a few new shows are in the works.
Until next time, same blog channel at some blog time…
Scorp out!

“Diamond life, lover boy. We move in space with minimum waste and maximum joy. City lights and business nights, when you require streetcar desire for higher heights. No place for beginners or sensitive hearts. When sentiment is left to chance. No place to be ending but somewhere to start.” – “Smooth Operator” (Adu/St. John)
