Salutations™!!
Well, we closed out 1987 with a bang. Well, to me, all three weeks were bangers. I don’t know how I feel about that idiom. Hmmm… Anyway, I’ve worked myself out of anything to do, so now I have to find another topic. I was juicing the heck out of 1987. You got any ideas? I’ll entertain just about anything. What are some of your favorite songs from 1987?
Do you have ideas for show topics? I’d really love to hear your ideas because eventually (any day now), I’m going to run out of things to talk about out of my feeble brain.
Also, you don’t have to be “local” to listen. We are an internet-based radio station and are licensed to broadcast anywhere in the US, Canada, and the UK. We broadcast out of the Omniverus Studios at Liberty Plaza.
Your next question may be: well, how do we listen? We have you covered on that. The Camel City Radio app is available on both the Apple Play and Google Play stores, so we are compatible with any iOS or Android device. Also, we now have our Alexa Skill. All you have to do is say, “Alexa, play Camel City” and Bob’s your uncle. You don’t even have to say “radio” (because she takes me to some weird Pandora channel). Just “Camel City.” And now, we are on the Audacy directory. Listen anywhere on the web or in an app.
You can comment here, send an email or call 336-462-8660 and leave a voicemail. We will play your VM on the air (unless you tell us not to).
Listen to The Rose Garden of Doom on Camel City Radio on Saturday mornings at 10a-until. Eugene has The Non-Conformist Cult Radio Show on Friday Nights, 8p-10p!
Until next time, same blog channel at some blog time…
Scorp out!

“How old are you? Are you old enough? Should you be in here watching that? And how old are you? Are you owning up? Should you be in here with-? 24 hour party people. Plastic face can’t smile the whites out. With the 24 hour party people. Plastic face can’t smile the whites out.” – “24 Hour Party People” (Whelan/Ryder/Day/Davis/Ryder)
