What is your favorite 1985 song (and don’t forget I’m doing it again this week, too)?
Do you have ideas for show topics? I’d really love to hear your ideas because eventually (any day now), I’m going to run out of things to talk about out of my feeble brain.
Also, you don’t have to be “local” to listen. We are an internet-based radio station and are licensed to broadcast anywhere in the US, Canada, and the UK. We broadcast out of the Omniverus Studios at Liberty Plaza.
Your next question may be: well, how do we listen? We have you covered on that. The Camel City Radio app is available on both the Apple Play and Google Play stores, so we are compatible with any iOS or Android device. Also, we now have our Alexa Skill. All you have to do is say, “Alexa, play Camel City” and Bob’s your uncle. You don’t even have to say “radio” (because she takes me to some weird Pandora channel). Just “Camel City.” And now, we are on the Audacy directory. Listen anywhere on the web or in an app.
You can comment here, send an email or call 336-462-8660 and leave a voicemail. We will play your VM on the air (unless you tell us not to).
Listen to The Rose Garden of Doom on Camel City Radio on Saturday mornings at 10a-until. Eugene has The Non-Conformist Cult Radio Show on Friday Nights, 8p-midnight! I started a new Monday feature today called “New Tunes on Monday.” That happens on Mondays at 2p. All times are EASTERN!
Until next time, same blog channel at some blog time…
Scorp out!

“I’d rather rip out my intestines with a fork than watch you going out with other men. I’d rather slam my fingers in a door, again and again and again and again and again… Oh, can’t you see what I’m tryin’ to say, darlin’? I’d rather have my blood sucked out by leeches. Shove an icepick under a toenail or two. I’d rather clean all the bathrooms in Grand Central Station with my tongue than spend one more minute with you.” – “One More Minute” (Yankovic)
