Salutations™!!
I remember 42 years ago today, sitting with my mother in the “white house on the hill” watching Tic-Tac-Dough on a black and white television set and the news breaking in that Elvis Presley had passed away. It was shocking even though I didn’t care anything about Elvis (at the time). Friends of the family were rocked. It was bad for them.
Today would have also been my ex-wife’s father’s birthday. It was weird. My dad’s birthday is January 8, the day that Elvis was born, (as well as David Bowie) and hers the day he passed. RIP Ronnie.
So, here’s a little snippet of the man doing his thing. Supposedly the last song he ever sang live.
Long live the King!
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
Scorp out!
