This week on The Less Desirables, I was without my work-wives Tracy (illness) and Bethany (vacay) and brought in the fantastic Jax who brought five Scotch Whisky brands for us to taste and try. I love Scotch and these were fantastic. Monkey Shoulder, Jura, Dalmore, Glenfiddich, and Balvenie. Mmmm, listen to Jax and me discuss Scotch, life and more, here.
Until tomorrow, same blog channel… Scorp out!

Tonight on The Less Desirables, Jax returns to bring us a good smackerling of booze! We tried Bowman Brothers and one of their sister labels Isaac Bowman bourbons. We also had a lot of Pink Whitney (which came from a podcast no less!!!). In the studio with Jax, Tracy and myself (Bethany was out becoming a B-Ma again), were two young men who are wanting to get into podcasting and asked if they could observe. One is the son of a very good friend of mine and the other is the son of someone that I’ve been friends with for a long time and didn’t even know that he was his son until after they had left.
So, I said yes and they came and watched the three “adults” behave like children and they had a great time. I hope they learned something and I will be working with them to get their podcast going.

The result is an exceptionally smooth, great-tasting pink lemonade flavored vodka that’s ‘not a big deal.'” – Pink Whitney/New Amsterdam
