It was a good day yesterday for The BCPF and me. Breakfast, records, tile. Yeah, we bought new tile to go down in the bathroom that we are remodeling. Yay us! But, here’s the record haul:
Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy – I See A Darkness — I don’t know anything about them, but The BCPF saw that this is often compared to Belle & Sebastian and here we are. Includes glossy insert with drawings, lyrics, and credits. EX.
Ducks Ltd. – Modern Fiction — The BCPF was properly hyped by the hype sticker. It said “for fans of indie-rock” and that’s all she needed to know. It sounds like just about everything else she listens to, so yeah, it was right up her alley. I thought it was okay. New.
Various – More Dirty Dancing — Part II. I had both parts on cassette. I have the double CD special edition and now I have both parts on vinyl. Just more of the soundtrack music from the film, Dirty Dancing. VG+.
Mary Martin, Ezio Pinza, Richard Rodgers / Oscar Hammerstein II With Original Broadway Cast – South Pacific — I’m pretty sure this is an original pressing with the original Broadway cast. It’s in EX condition.
You should check out the Underdog Records social media, especially Instagram to see what Jonathan has gotten in, found, purchased and is putting out on the floor for you to have. You can order new vinyl day, night and in between by visiting the Underdog Records website. I use Discogs to track my collection and bring you these blog posts, you should use them, too!
Until tomorrow, keep spinnin’…
