Salutations™!!
Yesterday and last night was a night of epic proportions. I’ll get to that later this week, possibly on the podcast. I’ll have a couple of things to talk about this week on that podcast episode. But, we had breakfast, went to Underdog Records, and I got to see my mom. Here’s the haul:
Kiss – Destroyer 45th Anniversary 2-LP Deluxe Edition — I wasn’t going to buy this but I couldn’t resist. Not nearly my favorite KISS album, but I’d love to have other albums from the band do this. Especially, Rock and Roll Over or Hotter Than Hell or the self-titled debut. 2×LP, Remastered, Stereo, Half-Speed Mastering. New.
Explosions In The Sky – Big Bend (An Original Soundtrack For Public Television) — Kind of like indie-prog-rock. That’s what The BCPF said. I don’t know if I know anything from them. 2×LP. New.
The Feelies – The Good Earth — Don’t know anything about The Feelies. This is The BCPF’s pick. She said they’re somehow related to Luna. I know who Luna is, but I don’t know what it means to be related to them. Reissue, Remastered. New.
The Feelies – In Between — Everything I said in the above paragraph applies here. New.
Frank Sinatra – Christmas — I don’t like Christmas music other than like the week of Christmas. I love Frank Sinatra. So, let’s go for it. Walmart Exclusive – Red Vinyl. Used but Sealed.
Carole King – A Holiday Carole — Same thing, but with Carole King. NM.
Underdog Records will be closed on Thursday, of course, but will be open Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Friday is Black Friday and is also Record Store Day. If you’re interested in the RSD roster of releases, visit the RSD website. Order new vinyl (not RSD) from Underdog by visiting their website. Use Discogs to track your music collection like I do.
Until next time, keep spinnin’…
Scorp out!
