Salutations™!!
Today is the 26th anniversary of Green Day’s Dookie album. #193 on the RS List, and the first time I ever heard of the band. I didn’t like it, but I didn’t like anything out of the norm at the time. It’s a pivotal time in music and I like it, now. I’ve “come around” if you will. See what I did there? Here’s a high school band to perform the album’s breakthrough. Notice the drummer. I can’t tell if he’s a dad or a teacher but I think it’s cool. Also, the guy in the red tie has to deal with a thing any band has experienced and hate, the sound guy forgot to turn up the mic. Still, they do a great job. Enjoy!
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
Scorp out!
