Salutations™!!
Today is the 39th anniversary of Van Halen’s Fair Warning album. It had some really good moments. I think it’s better than either of its bookends. Women and Children First and Diver Down had some good moments, too, but neither were as good as this. Then again, this doesn’t touch 1984 to me, either. But, I’d say as far as “classic Dave” era VH, this is probably my third favorite behind 1984 and the debut. Anyway, I found some mostly-impressive musical covers, but of course, the vocals are a bit lacking. So, I went with the original model. But, DLR’s vocals weren’t much better live. But, it’s Eddie, so I had to go with that. Enjoy!
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
Scorp out!
