Salutations™!!
Yes, we did record episode #549 of The Less Desirables last night but that isn’t what the title is about. Today is the 46th anniversary of Emerson Lake & Palmer’s live opus Welcome Back My Friends To The Show That Never Ends – Ladies and Gentlemen. Yeah, I don’t usually cover live albums but ELP, along with some Yes, old Moody Blues, Rick Wakeman, and old Genesis, I have come to appreciate some 70s prog stuff and I think this album is fantastic. This version is one of two that this collaboration group did and it features a young blind girl on some keyboards and lead guitar. The whole ensemble is pretty awesome! Enjoy!
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
Scorp out!

“Welcome back my friends, to the show that never ends. We’re so glad you could attend, come inside, come inside. There behind a glass stands a real blade of grass. Be careful as you pass. Move along, move along.” – “Karn Evil 9, 1st Impressions Part 2” (Emerson/Lake/Palmer)
