Today is the 51st anniversary of Elvis’ From Elvis in Memphis (#190 on the RS list). It’s a good album and I’m not really a big Elvis fan. Now, this was “the” single from the album. I don’t know if we can call it a cover since Mac Davis wrote the song. He wrote it and Elvis did it. I don’t know how that is supposed to go. Oh well, whatever, enjoy!
