Salutations™!!
Yesterday I spent so much time explaining why I was making up writing and didn’t share the anniversary of my “favorite” KISS album, Music From ‘The Elder’, which celebrated its 39th anniversary. I’m not going to go into my normal long winded tribute about this album. I have done that enough. You can read about it here or here. Or, better yet listen to the two-part Asylum – The Tales from the Devereaux Diaries Podcast episodes on the album here and here. I love the album. That’s all there is to it. It’s the most debated, most maligned and most talked about KISS album, but not usually for the best reasons. This tune is one of the best on the album and take Paul’s blown voice out of it, I would have fallen in the floor to have heard this live. Supposedly, this is only the second time they’ve ever done it live, the other time on Fridays, a SNL knockoff on ABC that happened on , well, Friday instead of Saturday. Enjoy!
Oh, yeah! It’s also Eugene’s birthday today. I won’t say how old but there is a “4” in it somewhere. Happy birthday, Eug!
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
Scorp out!
