Salutations™!!
Today is the 36th anniversary of one of my top 20 albums of all time, Brothers in Arms from Dire Straits. It is well documented how I searched high and low for a copy of this on vinyl that did not include a truncated version of the tunes on the entire first side with the exception of “Walk of Life,” to which I always asked, why that song. Cut that one and give me the full versions of the rest of the Side A songs. Well, I found it, in Germany. And now I have it. Whew! Here’s a great cover of one of the great (but not obvious) tunes from this album. Enjoy!
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
Scorp out!

“All the late night bargains have been struck between the satin beaus and their belles. Prehistoric garbage trucks have the city to themselves. Echoes and roars of dinosaurs, they’re all doing the monster mash. And most of the taxis and most of the whores are only taking calls for cash, mmm.” – “Your Latest Trick” (Knopfler)
