Salutations™!!
Today is the 48th anniversary of the Doobie Brothers’ The Captain and Me album. I have always been ambivalent toward the Doobs. I like Michael MacDonald and I like some of their tunes but they get old really fast. I picked this song because I’ve done it in a few bands. I picked this version because it’s fun. I don’t know if it’s live or not, as most of these variety shows were not. But, it’s still fun. Plus you get bonus footage of, at least, “Surfin’ USA.” Enjoy!
Until “tomorrow,” same blog channel…
Scorp out!
