Now Normal Chronicles or: Live Again

Salutations™!!

I think all this week I’m going to honor Live Aid artists. Especially so, since I know that the VSS event planned for the summer was Live Aid. That, of course, was lost due to the C-19 pandemic. So, the organizers were Bob Geldof and Midge Ure. Geldof was the leader of Boomtown Rats, best known for their song about Brenda Ann Spencer, a 16-year old who was bored and shot up an elementary school killing two adults and injuring a number of kids. When arrested and asked why she did it, she replied “I don’t like Mondays.” And there we are. Enjoy!

Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
Scorp out!

“The Telex machine is kept so clean as it types to a waiting world. And Mother feels so shocked, Father’s world is rocked and their thoughts turn to their own little girl. Sweet sixteen ain’t that peachy keen. Now, it ain’t so neat to admit defeat. They can see no reasons ’cause there are no reasons. What reason do you need oh, woah. Tell me why… I don’t like Mondays. I want to shoot the whole day down.” – “I Don’t Like Mondays” (Geldof/Moylett)
