Salutations™!!
Today is the 44th anniversary of Stevie Wonder’s Songs in the Key of Life. “I Wish,” “Isn’t She Lovely,” “Sir Duke,” “Another Star,” “As” were all released as singles. But, the biggest wow for me was when I realized that Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise” is a direct sample from this tune, which in this video he doesn’t sing but plays a mean blues harp. Enjoy!
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
Scorp out!

“Tell me who of them will come to be. How many of them are you and me. Proclamation. Of Race Relations. Consolation. Integration. Verification. Of Revelations. Acclamation. World Salvation. Vibrations. Stimulation. Confirmation… to the peace of the world. They’ve been spending most their lives living in a pastime paradise.” – “Pastime Paradise” (Wonder)
