Salutations™!!
Today is the 39th anniversary of Toto’s most commercially successful album, Toto IV. I love this album and I love the songs on it. And usually, I never pass an opportunity to play Mike Massé’s version of anything, especially when it’s pretty much the song that got him the notoriety that he has. But, this is amazing. Enjoy!
You know what!? I’m going to play Mike’s version anyway. Enjoy that, too!
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
Scorp out!

“I hear the drums echoing tonight. But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation. She’s coming in, 12:30 flight. Her moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation. I stopped an old man along the way, hoping to find some old forgotten words or ancient melodies. He turned to me as if to say, ‘Hurry boy, it’s waiting there for you.'” – “Africa” (Paich/Porcaro)
