Salutations™!!
Well, vacation is going swimmingly so far. We spent a good bit of the day buying a new car. As we know I have been driving and loving Nigel, an Alien II colored 2015 Kia Soul+. It was the best car I’d ever had, the most fun one I’d ever had and just all around a great car. It’s hard to believe that that was almost three years ago (March 27 would make three years).

Today, however, I traded Nigel in. I got a 2018 Kia Soul! that is “Wild Orange” and Turbo and has a bunch of other features that Nigel didn’t have. And since I name my vehicles, I wait until I’ve driven them to see what kind of feel I get. With Nigel, he felt like a guy instead of a girl. Most vehicles have girl names. Nigel was different. We picked up the new car this afternoon and it felt more like a girl. For whatever reason, the name Annabelle popped into my head. So, here I am introducing you to Annabelle.

Panoramic sunroof, nav, turbo, Bluetooth, blindside monitoring, LED head and tail lights (the headlights have sensors that redirect the beam to not blind the cars in front of you), SiriusXM radio, HD Radio, heated seats, both front and back, heated steering wheel, floor mats (Nigel had none of those), mood lighting around the door speakers, plenty of room, digital readouts, sensors for crossing traffic and people, and so on. This is one dynamic car. Technically, it’s a crossover and not a car. So, it’s a dynamic crossover! So far, she’s a delight to drive.
The BCPF made sure to get a picture of me hugging Nigel goodbye and hello to Annabelle.
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
Scorp out!
