Salutations™!!
Today is the 39th anniversary of the Joy Division album Closer. It was Ian Curtis’ swan song as it was released after his death. There were a plethora of tribute covers of this song by big names like The Cure, Thom Yorke, Bowie and more but I chose this young lady’s version, instead. Funny enough, this song wasn’t included on the album, it was a non-album hit. It was the last Joy Division song released at that time. Enjoy!
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
