Salutations™!!
I will admit that I don’t mind rainy days. I don’t mind hazy, lazy foggy days. I mean, of course, I love the sunny days, partly cloudy days, overcast days, I just love days. But, jeez o’Pete! I am so over the day-after-day-after-day of this stupid rain. We are getting more than we even need, at least more at a time.

My phone is blowing up with “flash flood” and “severe thunderstorm” alerts.
My “backyard” looks like I just got a mail order stream installed from the old Sears catalog (you older folk know what that is). I’m wondering if I could have gotten an ark from that catalog?
If I ever thought I’d be able to get permits and zoning for it, I would consider building my own. I’d have to download the cubits to feet calculator. Speaking of which… what is a cubit, anyway? I guess we can go see it in Kentucky (there is one there).
I don’t know, Dear Reader, anytime the wind blows hard right now, I feel I’m going to have a tree in my house. The ground is so saturated that the roots are having trouble holding. It’s just awful. I really don’t know if it’s rainfall of the biblical proportion, but it’s a lot of danged rain. I’m ready for it to be done. DONE!
Oh, by the way, a cubit is equal to 1.5 feet.
Until tomorrow, stay dry…
Scorp out!
