Salutations™!!
Today is 48 years since my birth. I am two years from 50, 12 from 60, 22 from 70 and so on. I used to think that 40 was old and here I am looking at the crest of the 50 Hill and thinking, this is old? Well, okay I feel old but really, that’s my own doing. I could and should exercise more or at least be more active. That would help greatly. Other than being big and lethargic, I’m actually healthier than I’ve been in many, many years and I’m happy about that.
But, I was looking at something that my wife, The BCPF, or in real life, Stephanie wrote on Facebook to me a few years back. I’m going to just reprint that and let that speak for me today.
My dear Timothy G. Beeman II – On July 31, 2011 I made a vow to love you for the rest of my life. On April 18, 2012, while you were sleeping, I made another vow: never to waste a day of our life together – not to let a day pass without telling you I love you, not to drag out arguments over silly things just to be right, not to fail to appreciate you for exactly who you are. And what a wonderful life we have together – every day I laugh and every night I go to sleep knowing I’m loved. Your love for life is infectious and your hugs fix everything. You are the love of my life, my best friend, and my safe haven – and I’m so proud to be your girl. Happy birthday, baby
Yeah, I love that woman and every birthday (and all the days in-between) that I get to spend with her, the more complete my life is. I love her. I love her. I love her. And, she’s with me, right beside me, not knowing what I’m writing and I can look over at her and realize that this is the life. Could we use more money? Yes, but I am the richest man in the world with her, if in love only. Happy birthday to me!!!!!!
Until tomorrow, when I’ll be even older…
Scorp (Tim) out!
