Salutations™!!
City Beverage, the Official Beer Sponsor of The Less Desirables, presents Downtown Abbaye Belgian-style Dubbel from Tarboro Brewing Company, The Less Desirables Beer of the Week.
It’s been a few weeks since we have talked about the beer of the week. Danielle has been bringing beer so I didn’t know what we’d be having at that time. We’ll do that a good bit this year, too, but this week, I ran to City Beverage to get the beer. I’d never heard of Tarboro Brewing Company, but that’s okay. Danielle says they make a great Rye IPA.
BeerAdvocate rates it at 4.01 out of 5. Untappd rates it at 3.59 caps out of 5. The ABV of this brew is 6.9% which makes sense since it is a Dubbel. Have you had this before? What did you think? If you’ve not had it or just have a hankering for more, head to City Beverage and get your sixer. Tell them it’s the beer of the week and get 5% off your order. Tune in right now to hear what Danielle, Bethany and I think of it.
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
Scorp out!

“Downtown Tarboro is one of our town’s greatest treasures. Main Street is lined with beautiful shops and lots and lots of native characters who speak to everyone and are always ready to tell a great story. We believe our Belgian-Dubbel style brew made with real Belgian candy sugar is one of TBC’s most special beers. Beautiful in color with lots of caramel character, it is enjoyed best with fun people and a great story.” – Tarboro Brewing Company
