Salutations™!!
Today is the 51st anniversary of one of the greatest albums of all time. #234 on the RS List, which I think is ridiculous! It should be higher on the chart. Heck, I’d trade it for the Velvet Underground & Nico album at #13, which I’d rather just erase all together. But, this isn’t that, this is Bookends from Simon & Garfunkel. So, in honor of it, I found a cover of one of my faves from it. And, I will never pass up a reason to play Mike Massé, so here ya go. Enjoy!
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
Scorp out!

“Let us be lovers, we’ll marry our fortunes together. I’ve got some real estate here in my bag. So we bought a pack of cigarettes and Mrs. Wagner’s pies. And we walked off to look for America. ‘Cathy,’ I said as we boarded a Greyhound in Pittsburgh, ‘Michigan seems like a dream to me now.’ It took me four days to hitchhike from Saginaw. I’ve gone to look for America.” – “America” (Simon)
