Today is the 50th anniversary of one of the greatest albums ever. That’s not just me, it’s pretty universal. The album I’m talking about is What’s Going On from Marvin Gaye. #5 on the RS list that mattered and well, I can’t argue with the one on the RS list that doesn’t matter. I don’t think it’s #1 but they do and it can’t be far from #1 either way. Here’s a good cover. Enjoy!
Also!!! Happy birthday to my nephew Cory and my mother-in-law!
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
“Mother, mother. There’s too many of you crying. Brother, brother, brother. There’s far too many of you dying. You know we’ve got to find a way to bring some loving here today, yeah.” – “What’s Going On” (Gaye/Cleveland/Benson)
