Today is the 53rd anniversary of Simon & Garfunkel’s most amazing album, Bookends. It’s my favorite of theirs. So many great tunes and, to me, nary a clunker to be found. It was inexplicably ranked at #234 on the RS list that matters and in yet another example of why the new list does NOT matter, it’s absent altogether. Unacceptable. But, the bright side is I never pass up a chance to play a Mike Massé cover. Enjoy!

Scorp out!

“‘Kathy,’ I said as we boarded a Greyhound in Pittsburgh. ‘Michigan seems like a dream to me now.’ It took me four days to hitchhike from Saginaw. I’ve gone to look for America.” – “America” (Simon)
