Today is the 51st anniversary of Elvis’ From Elvis in Memphis (#190 on the RS list). It’s a good album and I’m not really a big Elvis fan. Now, this was “the” single from the album. I don’t know if we can call it a cover since Mac Davis wrote the song. He wrote it and Elvis did it. I don’t know how that is supposed to go. Oh well, whatever, enjoy!

Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
Scorp out!

“As the snow flies on a cold and gray Chicago morning, a poor little baby child is born in the ghetto. And his mama cries. ‘Cause if there’s one thing that she don’t need, it’s another little hungry mouth to feed in the ghetto.” – “In the Ghetto” (Davis)
