Today is the 33rd anniversary of Suzanne Vega’s Solitude Standing album. I remember when this came out and this song was released and the controversies it stirred, but also the awareness of child abuse. I have always loved this song, as sad and dark as it is and this lady, “Billy” nails it! Enjoy!
