I think I’ve gotten through the “big project” and I’m just waiting to hear if there were any edits that needed to be made from what I submitted. But, today is the 52nd anniversary of Blood Sweat & Tears’ Child Is Father to the Man album. It’s #266 on the RS list and going back to read my entry, I liked it (you can read that here). When I first picked this version of this song, I didn’t really like it but I listened again and the guy is definitely feeling it. Enjoy!
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
“In the city streets, in the country fields, in the back of my mind, I know it can’t be real for a woman to possess all the tenderness she had. But the hands of time keep tickin’ on my back. ‘Cause it’s been so long since I had her back beside me.” – “I Can’t Quit Her” (Kooper)
