Today is the 39th anniversary of Jackson Browne’s Hold Out album. It’s surprising that it’s the only album of his to reach #1. That didn’t mean that the critics loved it, though. In fact, the response was tepid at best. In looking for a cover, it seemed it’s not something that people do a lot of covers of, so I let the man speak, er sing, for himself.
