I’ve written this post so many times that I’ve really run out of things to say. Today is my son, 3B’s 15th birthday. I can’t think of anything that I’ve not told you about his, so far, Dear Reader. My world; my boy; my son; my greatest accomplishment. All of it.
Monday mornings, I usually take him to school and then go to work to get my week going. But, today, his mother came to pick him up and take him to get his learner’s permit. We are both nauseous and scared. For him and for us; we have to ride with him.
2:42 pm, 15 years ago today. a 7 lb, 14 oz boy came into the world (that’s official weight, they estimate he was probably closer to 8 lbs, 1 oz). Now, he’s a young man that’s almost as tall as I am. I love that boy.
I’m keeping it short today because I can ramble on but it would be redundant because I’d use the same adjectives, superlatives, and descriptors that I always do. He’s an amazing kid, he’s got a lot ahead of him. He’s pretty cool, too. Happy solar circumnavigational anniversary day, Trey. From Steph-Mom and ya Daddy!
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
