Westbrook Brewing Company is located in Mt. Pleasant, SC. We’ve had a brew or two from them before on The Less Desirables. I know the White Thai and possibly their Gose. They have a beer called One Claw which is their regular IPA, this is made with rye. I can’t wait to try it. I’m in a spicy mood right now, so a Rye IPA would be good, I think. Westbrook makes solid beers and I’m thinking I’ll be okay with this. It is 7%ABV and 65 IBU.
BeerAdvocate has it at 92 (Outstanding) with no Bros Score. Untappd has it at 4.05 caps out of 5, which is pretty high for Untappd. RateBeer has it at 92 Overall, 88 in Style. Great ratings. Have you had it? What did you think? If you’ve not had it or just have a hankering for more, you can should run down to 915 Burke Street, right now and grab your quad pack (yep, only available in fours). Tell Spencer that this is the beer of the week and get 5% off your order. Then tune in to TLD late tonight or early tomorrow and see what Caitlin, Danielle, Kelley and I thought about it.
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
