Mandarina is a tart farmhouse ale brewed with tangerine and oranges. It’s a low 4.3%ABV and according to the box it comes in, it’s citrus, tart and refreshing. I know nothing about this beer or Almanac Beer Company, but Spencer at City Bev says they’re solid and that this certainly is a refreshing brew. It’s been in the 60s and 70s the last few days so perhaps we’re in need of refreshing. I’m looking forward to giving it a go.
BeerAdvocate has it at 85 (Very Good) with no Bros Score. Untappd has it at 3.6 caps out of 5. RateBeer has it as 94 Overall and 91 Style. Have you had it before? I’d be very interested in what you thought of it. If you’ve not had it before, or if you just have a hankering for more, head down to City Beverage and grab your sixer, tell them it’s the TLD beer of the week and get 5% off your order. Tune in later tonight or early tomorrow to see what Caitlin, Danielle, Ken and I think about it.
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
