I know you are so tired of hearing about my throat, Dear Reader, I know. But, I am giving what I hope to be my last report on it for this go around. After completing the antibiotics and letting the ulcers run their course and sucking down a lot of CVS brand lozenges and basically drinking Chloraseptic. I can say that my throat is still slightly irritated but mostly healed and I can actually taste things again.

My friend the last few days, but I’m glad to stop using you.

The tasting problem was because of the lozenges and Chloraseptic. That lovely (not) mix of fake honey, lemon and menthol mixed with that medicinal crappy “cherry” flavoring makes for skewed flavor profiles on anything else you eat or drink. Even water was tasting bad after 10 days or so of that. Someone mentioned colloidal silver and luckily, I’ve not had to use it. That’s twice in three weeks someone mentioned using it for something. I had an eye infection that wasn’t, but may have been interpreted as, pink eye and I was told to use it for that. I looked it up and it is like a miracle drug, but I don’t know if I could take it, anyway. There’s a lot of research that says to not use it, as well as why to use it. Nothing like that can go into my body without my doctor signing off on it and that’s per The BCPF’s orders. But, I’ll keep it in mind for future reference.

Anywhat! The swelling and hurt are going away and the irritation is, too, albeit slowly. At least it is. So, maybe this is it, right! Thanks for putting up with it.

Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
