This is a whopping 9.4%ABV and it’s supposed to be good. It’s a Baltic Porter from Poland and the Baltic area where this type thing started. It’s been a bit since I’ve had a Baltic Porter and I can’t wait for this. I don’t know much about the brewery and their website isn’t the friendliest of sites to navigate, especially for English speakers. I don’t really know what else to say about it.
BeerAdvocate rates it 86 (Very Good) with no Bros Score. Untappd rates it 3.56 caps out of 5. RateBeer rates it 88 overall and 66 in style. Have you had it? Can you tell me anything about it? I’d love to hear about it. If you’ve not had it, or have a hankering for more of it, head down to 915 Burke Street in WSNC and get your sixer. I have to say it’s some of the coolest packaging I’ve seen. Someone from the states had to have designed it. Looking at their website, I doubt that much thought went into the packaging in Poland. That’s not a knock, they just seem to like everything very simple and we Americans have gotten into the “flair.” Let’s hope the beer is cool, too. Tune in to The Less Desirables to see what Caitlin, Danielle, Michael and I think of it.
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
