This past Saturday, the post about Brokeback Mountain, was my 600th post (on this blog, remember I was with a different platform in the beginning). I’ve written about a lot of stuff in these 600 posts. My wife, my honeymoon, my travels, my fascination with food and beer and liquor and wine (jeez I’m a wino), my son, my family, my friends, The Less Desirables, The Beer Dads, Fan Interference, The Man Who Ate the Town, The Man Who

Walked the Town, all my sponsors (City Beverage, Finnigan’s Wake, King’s Crab Shack, The Garage, a/perture cinema, Washington Perk & Provision Company), WSNC, Bee On Your Way Travel, a lot of albums and music, some bands, a few rants, movies, some sports and the list goes on and on.

I considered this run all starting really when I posted the first post about getting married and my honeymoon. The real “streak” (you see I’ve updated this blog every single day) began on November 1, 2014, merely two months after my wedding day when I started writing for NaBloPoMo and haven’t turned back. Sure, I’ve piggybacked off my other two blogs, but I consider that, actually writing a blog post, that’s the point, at least to me. And, hey! It’s my blog, right? NaBloPoMo was only supposed to be for a month but I can’t stop streaks and that was an on-going thing, and here I am one year and seven months later, still updating everyday.

I write from a character’s perspective, not necessarily myself. That’s why I always use “code names” or character names for those I write about. No need to actually drag their names into it. Not everything I say is true or even what I believe to be true. Again, I write from a character’s perspective. When I’m rating stuff or talking about my sponsors or the podcasts, I’m generally being 100% truthful in my words. If I’m ranting about things? You never can tell. This blog is a lifestyle blog but it’s also for entertainment purposes. You never know what’s coming out of my mouth and I think we both (you, Dear Reader, and me) prefer it that way.

I appreciate all the readers I have and the comments that I get. Some of you agree, some of you don’t. That’s okay, it’s all good. I’m just glad that you’re reading. You don’t have to agree with me. I don’t think I’m stopping writing anytime soon, so, just keep on reading and I’ll keep on throwing (spouting) it out there. As long as I’m able, I am able.

Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
Scorp out!

“A blog is neither a diary nor a journal. Many people think of blogging in relation to those two things, confessional or practical. It is neither but includes elements of both.” – Lemm Sissay
