April is NC Beer Month, so naturally, we’re having another NC beer. This time it’s from Wicked Weed, a very popular brewery in our Western NC beer neighbor, Asheville. I try to keep a balance of darker beers and hoppy things to keep Caitlin happy. Sometimes it
works, we’ll see how she like this. The packaging says that “Napoleon Complex is a small-statured pale ale with a larger-than-life attitude. Ignoring the industry standard of diminutive hop presence and mild manner, this pale ale will have most IPAs contemplating their inadequacy. Little beer, big flavor, even bigger ego.”
Well, that sounds promising and I look forward to trying it. BeerAdvocate has no rating for it, yet; it needs about six more reviews to have an official score. Untappd has it at 3.84 caps out of 5. Have you tried it, yet? If so, how do you like it? You should run down to 915 Burke Street and grab a sixer. Tell them this is the Beer of the Week and get 5% off your order. Let us know what you think once you do try it.
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
