According to the Mad River Brewing website: “A bright golden hued ale of medium body with a spicy floral hop character and very mild bitterness. Our flagship brand! 2008 and 2012 Gold Medal and 2010 & 2013 Silver Medal winner at the Great American Beer Festival in the Golden and Blonde Ale category.” According to Spencer at City Beverage, it’s a very easy to drink pale. Not too hoppy and smooth. It’s at 5.6% so that’s kind of what I expect, easy and not too in-depth.
BeerAdvocate has it rated at 81 (Good) with a Bros Score of 89 (Very Good). Untappd has it at 3.42 caps out of 5. I look forward to trying it. I hope, too, that it’s not too hoppy. Have you had it yet? You should “hop” down to
Electric Avenue City Beverage and get your sixer. Tell Spencer that this is the Beer of the Week and you’ll get 5% off your order. Tune in to The Less Desirables this week to see what Caitlin, The Beer Dads and I think of it!
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
