Lots of food and alcohol this weekend, including the two-year anniversary of Small Batch Beer Co. and Meridian and some Mary’s Gourmet Diner, because that’s what we do! Even sitting or wandering whilst The BCPF shopped around for some new clothes was fun because I was spending it with her. Not too shabby.
But, today, I got to stretch my vox a bit with the Vagabond Saints Society as we practiced for the KISS shows (here and here) coming up this Friday at the Garage (Official Music Sponsor or The Less Desirables). So far, I’ve gotten “Got to Choose,” “Watchin’ You,” “Cold Gin,” “Ladies Room,” “God of Thunder,” “I Was Made for Lovin’ You” and “I Love It Loud.” I say so far because, I have gained two of those this week (including one yesterday). Doug Davis has pretty much put in charge of the overflow or cancellations. Not to say someone may not grab one, but I’m the utility man. I’m good with that. Oh, and I’m also doing the “Gene (Simmons)” parts in “God Gave Rock ‘n’ Roll to You” with my good buddy Patrick Ferguson.
If you’re not doing anything Friday or Saturday, or heck if you are doing something, cancel it! You’ll want to see this show. I’ll write more about it this week. I’m putting the video for “I Was Made for Lovin’ You,” here, so enjoy.
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
“I’m standin’ here not quite aware. And I’m trying, baby, trying not to stare. ‘Cause everybody else is here. Everybody else is here. Everybody else is here, watchin’ you!” – “Watchin’ You” (Simmons)
