It’s 11:21pm. That’s before midnight. I’m still within the parameter. Sometimes I’ll write and forget to either schedule or actually hit publish. Anywhat, it was a fantastically fun-filled weekend.
Friday night, The BCPF and I ended up at our usual Friday stomping grounds, Meridian. We had great conversation with the regulars and a few stragglers along with great food and drinks. Saturday, we got out to Trade Street for the Pride event. It was a great time. Ended up seeing a lot of our friends and were able to stop at Atelier on Trade for pastries and coffee. Then we made our way over to the “social club” that we’re part of and had our October birthday celebration (there were four people with birthdays in October) with plenty of great food and beverages.
This morning I went to Vagabond Saints Society rehearsal for the KISS shows that are coming in November. I was there to basically be a “place holder” for the group whilst they worked through the songs. So i say that I sang 31 songs, but that’s not exactly true. I didn’t sing “Shock Me,” “Calling Dr. Love” or “Beth.” But I made up for the ones I didn’t sing by doing a lot of the parts where there are several vocal parts. My voice was already stretched out and I’m somewhat hoarse. Then it was to DiLisio’s for the wine dinner. I’m going to leave you here and let you look at the menu for what we had and what you missed. It was just absolutely delicious!!
So until, tomorrow, same blog channel…
