I hate not knowing how to do something. New programs, new technology, etc. Generally I can figure things out. It just takes a while. I have no patience and getting started is always the hardest part. Once I get it, once I know what I’m doing, or even once I get started, usually I can get on a roll.
I’m wanting to create a “rate sheet” for The Less Desirables Network to sell ads for the shows. I have to make some money somehow. The program that I’m staring at with a “what in the world” look is InDesign. As with all the Adobe Creative Cloud programs, I have to figure out the very first step. That first step will open up subsequent doors and I’ll be able to figure it out. I just can’t figure out what the first step is. It looks like there are going to be a lot of YouTube and Google time in my future. But, you know what? After I start this, I won’t be able to say I haven’t used or that I don’t know how to at least get started InDesign ever again.
I want the rate sheet to look good, make a good impression. My fear is that it will look amateurish, which is bad. So, here I am, asking you, Dear Reader to wish me luck as I step out into new territory. I’m going to need it.
Until tomorrow, same blog channel…
